Game World — Data Deletion Request

Game World collects very little data, and most of it is removed automatically. If you would like us to delete any data associated with your device, follow the steps below.

How to request deletion

  1. Email us at support@dmoiapp.com.
  2. Put "Delete my data" in the subject line.
  3. If you know it, include the room code(s) you played in, and the nickname you used, so we can locate the data. (You do not need an account — there isn't one.)
  4. We will delete the requested data and confirm by reply, normally within 7 days and no later than 30 days.

What data is deleted, and what is kept

Online game room data (chosen nickname, emoji avatar, game state) Deleted. Rooms are also removed automatically after a short period when play ends.
Anonymous sign-in ID (a random identifier, not linked to any real identity) Deleted on request. It cannot be used to contact or identify you.
Pass-and-play (offline) data Never leaves your device — nothing is stored on our servers, so there is nothing for us to delete. Uninstalling the app removes it.

Retention

Online room data is short-lived and is automatically deleted within 90 days at the latest, and usually much sooner (rooms are cleared shortly after a game ends). We do not keep backups of room data beyond this period.
